Turning 30 is a milestone in anyone’s life and it’s no different for Sunny Kaushal. The Gold (2018) actor turns 30 today and admits that he is in shock. “I don’t feel like I am 30. It is a big number. When I look back at the last three decades of my life, I wonder, where did they go? Abhi toh main 20-21 ka tha and now, I am much older. Career-wise, this year has been fabulous as after the release of Gold (2018), things have looked up for me. By God’s grace, I have got some good offers and exciting roles, so I am looking forward to all of that this year,” he says. Talking about his birthday plans, Sunny shares, “I am going to celebrate the day with the people that I love — my father, brother (Vicky Kaushal) and friends. As my dad is busy and Vicky is shooting, so it is a task to get the family together (laughs). I will meet a couple of friends for dinner probably.” Currently, Sunny is working on three films — Bhangra Paa Le, Shiddat and Hurdang.

The actor can’t stop thanking the makers of Gold, who gave him a role to prove his talent. Along with the cast of the film, he prepared for his role for six months and got quite comfortable with the team. “I wanted to stay true to the character and appreciate the opportunity I was given. I didn’t think much about how it will change my life or what it will do for me career-wise. I wanted to portray the role with all honesty and not think about what’s next. I had put my faith in the makers and my co-actors. The process was so beautiful and I went with the flow and it worked out for me, which was the bonus,” says the birthday boy.
