Kartik, Bhumi and Ananya are set to tickle your funny bone

-

The buzz around the upcoming film — Pati Patni Aur Woh, starring Kartik Aaryan, Bhumi Pednekar and Ananya Panday is palpable. Pati Patni Aur Woh, which is a remake of Sanjeev Kumar’s 1978 hit of the same name, has already caught the audience’s fancy since the time of its announcement. Moreover, Kartik’s first look as Chintu Tyagi, when it was released, had created a havoc on social media, with netizens making memes of Chintu’s simple looks vs Kartik’s usual hunk avatar. And now, the first look posters of the film have definitely added to the excitement levels.

Featuring Kartik, who is getting praised for his “adorable moustachioed” avatar as Chintu Tyagi from Kanpur (Uttar Pradesh), Bhumi as his on-screen wife and Ananya as the sexy woh, the posters highlight the basic theme of the film — a man, who is caught in between two women.

Commenting on the first look posters, Bhushan Kumar, chairman and managing director, T-Series, says, “The film is a comical take on extra-marital affairs and we have tried to highlight that through the first look posters. Although it is a remake of Sanjeev Kumar’s Pati Patni Aur Woh, there is an interesting twist to the film. Besides, our talented trio — Kartik, Bhumi and Ananya have added a certain charm to the story.”

Juno Chopra of BR Studios says, “Pati Patni Aur Woh is an extremely dear project to me and I am hoping that it finds a chord with the audience just the way the original did. I am excited, and also anxious to show the audience the contemporary version of this classic tale.”

The film is directed by Mudassar Aziz and produced by Bhushan Kumar of T-Series and Juno Chopra of BR Studios.
