Sooraj strikes a musical note
Apart from doing movies, Sooraj Pancholi is also keeping himself busy with other projects. Among them is a music video that he has starred in, set to release on the 21st of this month. Titled Dim dim, the single is being produced by Jackky Bhagnani and is sung and composed by Rahul Jain. Co-starring Brazilian actormodel, Larissa Bonesi, the romantic number was shot entirely in London, UK.
Sooraj says, “Dim dim is the kind of song that I would like to listen to all the time. It has a beat that brings you alive and melody that is sweet to the ears. It’s the perfect mix for a song that touches your heart and makes you smile. I loved creating the video with Larissa, who is a dear friend.”
Sooraj says that shooting for this music video was a very different experience for him as compared to shooting for a film. Moreover, he found shooting for a video “more challenging”. “In a film, you have at least two hours if not more, to express whatever you want to say. But in a music video, you have at the most three minutes to show a range of emotions. It’s challenging and exciting at the same time,” he says.
Sooraj says that as soon as he found out that Jackky’s production house is making music videos, he insisted that he had to do a project with him. About collaborating with his good friend Jackky, the actor says, “He is a dear friend of mine, and an extremely intelligent entrepreneur. He also has a very strong understanding in music. I told him, ‘brother, I want to do one music video with you’, and that’s how Dim dim came to be.”
