Climate change is real and we’re all now feeling the heat! Or, should we say the untimely showers or nip in the weather. The extreme weather conditions experienced across the globe is telling us that something is wrong. And no, climate change has nothing to do with us growing old and being unable to cope with the weather.

Having said that, it is also important to be prepared when you have rainfall in the month of November or suddenly experience a nip in the weather during summers. In such situations, keeping a tab on what comes handy in such situations is important, especially, when you have the feeling that you have nothing to wear.

Fashion designer Sreejith Jeevan is of the opinion that people are a lot more aware about climate change, conscious consumption and about more ethical ways to dispose of clothes by either swapping it or by handing it over to people who actually need it. He also points out that we see a sense of style evolving among people where shopping is for a more long-term wardrobe and a sense of personal style than being driven by fast fashion. “Clothes worn by both celebs on the red carpet around the world to even our customers, who are now more conscious about what clothes mean than how they merely look. There is a constant dialogue among customers on how to repurpose clothes that are unwearable,” says Jeevan.

In a time where everything feels like a surprise when it comes to the weather, we bring some interesting outfits you could cheer your mood with. And maybe just hold on to that sweater you might need to wear on a summer day.
