What’s the biggest change Amit Sadh sees in himself?

Actor Amit Sadh stepped into Bollywood with Phoonk 2, a horror drama, uite unconventi­onal for yone wanting to get into ms. This was 10 years ago. Today, he finds himself in a ppy space, owing to films h as Kai Po Che! (2013), tan (2015) and Gold (2018) ich helped him strengthen place in the industry. an you imagine?” is how he cts when you mention t he completes a decade in lywood. “I can never sum anything. As an actor, u want to keep working. I rateful, from Phoonk 2 till here. I couldn’t have dreamt about this. I will continue doing what I want to.”

What’s the biggest change he finds in himself? “Calmness,” says Amit. “Whether it’s the age… I tried working on myself a lot. I was too anxious and nervous initially. Then I was 30, now 40. I am sure it’s important to change for the good. When you get success in life, and become whole as a person, it makes you confident about yourself, and be comfortabl­e with your good and bad.”

Currently, Amit has his hands full with the web film Operation Parindey, a web series, and the film on mathematic­al genius Shakuntala Devi, with Vidya Balan, and he is happy there’s a lot coming. “I’ve understood the power of streaming (platforms). As an actor, if you don’t have a big release in theatres, it doesn’t matter today. And these projects are just the six months in 2020! Agle chhey mahine ki abhi baat nahi ki!” he says.

Amit further adds that it’s only now he feels satisfied with his career. “I am satisfied with how my life is shaping up too. Career is a small part of life. When your life shapes up well, your career falls in place. I’m just ecstatic. Things are taking their time, I’m ready for more roles and responsibi­lities. Let’s see!” he sums up.
