Let’s talk about hydra facial
We do everything possible to keep our skin polished, cleansed and moisturised. From using face wash that cleans the pores, to buying skin butters that hydrate dry skin, we try to incorporate everything that keeps our skin healthy, in our daily beauty regime. However, at times we might feel something lacking in our skin’s texture. Recommended by experts is an all-seasons unisex treatment named Hydra facial, that might just help provide the missing link. Not only does it suit all skin types but it also works at every level of the skin.
“It is non-invasive water and active serum based resurfacing facial treatment that combines pressurised water and oxygen to gently exfoliate the top layers of the skin, removing dead skin cells and impurities,” says cosmetologist Seema Nanda. Also known as Hydradermabrasion, Hydra facial works at the deepest level to reveal the healthiest layer
of skin. Hydradermabrasion facials have become extremely popular because they target many of the most common skincare issues like dryness and signs of aging with little to no side effects.
During the treatment, the technician uses a small tool that opens up pores and sweeps the uppermost layer of makeup debris and dead skin cells away. And instead of performing manual extractions, the technician uses something rather elaborately called a vortexextraction nozzle that acts as a vacuum, initiating extractions wherever necessary. Experts claim that it also increases
circulation, contour and further strengthens the skin. Not only does it makes the skin firm, it also melts tension, stimulates lymphatic flow and reduces puffiness.
A little redness may occur post treatment; however, this should subside within 24 hours. You can apply makeup immediately after your treatment and resume your normal activities.
Typically, one treatment per month is recommended when opting for a total of six sessions.
