' LOVE AND FRIENDSHIP GO WELL TOGETHER'
Bipasha Basu Singh Grover and Karan Singh Grover open up about their relationship after four years of marriage
Bipasha Basu Singh Grover and Karan Singh Grover spent Valentine’s Day walking the ramp together at a fashion show in Mumbai, which was a first for them. What followed was “a cute plan” and then the couple flew to Colombo, Sri Lanka to celebrate the day where they graced a special event.
As the duo celebrated their fourth Valentine’s Day after they tied the knot, Bipasha says that their love has evolved with time. “For us, it just becomes stronger with each passing day. We don’t need a special day to tell each other how special we are for one another. We make sure that we make the other person feel special every day. I know for a fact that we say ‘I love you’ and ‘I’m so grateful for you’ to each other, every day, without planning it,” she says.
Karan says that he shares an unbending equation with Bipasha and believes that. “Love, for me, is the truth of life. It’s the most special and the highest emotion. It’s something that cannot be destroyed because it connects us,” he says.
For Bipasha, it’s an “inseparable” bond that she shares with her husband. She says, “The best part is that we’re enough for each other and we don’t need a third person for entertainment. We spend a lot of time with each other and have a blast. We both are in sync about that. Our friendship is getting stronger each day because we’re evolving.”
The Dum Maro Dum (2011) actor believes that it’s their profound friendship that has intensified their love over the years. “Love is a deep bond. Friendship needs to be its foundation. Love and friendship go very well together and that’s the bond that I share with my husband,” she says.
Ask Karan about their first date and he shares, “It’s strange when I think of our love story. We didn’t really have our first date as such (laughs). Every time we went out, we went out with our close friends. So, there was never a moment where we told each other that let’s go for a date. Today, every dinner that I’ve with her is a date, even if it’s at home.”
