Amid the coronavirus pandemic that has spread like wildfire, actor Karan Kundrra, who was planning to go on a vacation to Milan, Italy, with his family, has called off all such plans and is keeping himself isolated at home.

Concerned about his family members, he says, “My parents and sisters live in the US. So we had thought of having a big family bash in Milan on my elder sister’s 50th birthday. We had planned all this in advance, but we had to cancel everything. It’s sad that we can’t meet each other, and I’m worried about their health,” Kundrra shares.

The Covid-19 pandemic has affected him professionally, too. The 35-year-old says he had to discontinue shooting for his next film, Unfair and Lovely, in Karnal, Haryana, after the Federation of Western Indian Cine Employees (FWICE) issued a notice to stop shooting from

March 19. To complete as much as possible, the team shot all day and wrapped up everything in haste.

“It’s a scary situation. Not just mentally, people have also incurred great financial losses. But what matters is people’s health. There is no need to panic. We all have to take necessary steps and preventive measures,” he continues, “Thankfully, the Film City is shut and all shoots are called off. I was worried about those who travel by trains, metros or buses, to come to the sets. They are at a higher risk.”

The actor is planning to make the best use of this break by catching up on things that he couldn’t do earlier due to lack of time. “I was so exhausted shooting for two shows and a film back-toback that this break comes as a relief. There are so many books that I had bought but couldn’t read. I’ll be reading them now, and I’m going to watch all the web shows that I’ve missed out on,” the actor signs off.

Actor Raveena Tandon is extra cautious while travelling during these coronavirus times.

And that’s evident with the pictures and videos of the actor disinfecting her cabin with wet wipes and sanitisers during a train journey on her social media account. Raveena recently took to Instagram, where she posted a video of herself cleaning the cabin.

“Disinfecting the cabin with wet wipes, sanitiser, before the wheels roll and we get comfy! Better to be safe than sorry. And please take precautions. Safety of oneself and the others around you is paramount. #throwback #lastweek, off to a day of assignment. Back home to self-isolate and quarantine at least until 31st March. #throwback,” she said.

In another post, the actor shared a photograph of herself sitting at the Bandra Terminus station in Mumbai

and captioned it: “Most important. Please do not keep touching the front of your mask. Remove from the side bands only. Also please wear latex gloves if need to go out. Hogan safai , abh beth kar aaram! Importance of hygiene. #swachbharat Travel only if very necessary and please take precautions and safety of oneself and the others around you is paramount,” she said, adding emphasis on safety and in not endangering the lives of others.
