A collective of musicians, producers and DJs are recording the voices of vulnerable and near threatened birds from Mexico, Central America and the Caribbean, to help conserve endangered birds. The flute-like chirps and screeching single-note squalls recorded in an album would be then heard on dance floors around the world, and the proceeds will go towards conserving the endangered birds. The artistes want to pay homage to many of the birds that have disappeared, and spread awareness about these birds.
