Our reader from Lucknow, Aprajita Singh is an avid animal lover. With the help of her sister, Arunima and their dad, she started an animal shelter in the lawn of their house, which is now home to 30 native breeds. The 23-year old says, “We love dogs. For us, they are like our family like our kids.” She further asks everyone to be more humane and show compassion to these lovely creatures.
