Elliot Page and Willow Smith open up on their identities
Months after Canadian actor-producer, Elliot Page, revealed publicly that he is a transgender man, Page, in a recent interview, explained how he’s always known his true gender. In a new feature with Vanity Fair, Page said, “All trans people are so different, and my story’s absolutely just my story. But yes, when I was a little kid, absolutely, 100%, I was a boy.”
“I knew I was a boy when I was a toddler. I was writing fake love letters and signing them ‘Jason’. Every little aspect of my life, that is who I was, who I am, and who I knew myself to be. Now I’m finally getting myself back to feeling like who I am, and it’s so beautiful and extraordinary, and there’s a grief to it in a way,” he recalled.
In other news, American actor, Jada Pinkett Smith, discussed polyamorous relationships with her daughter and singer, Willow Smith – who is polyamorous herself. According to Fox News, during a recent episode of Red Table Talk, the 20-year-old singer asked her mother on the show, “How did you feel when I told you that I was polyamorous?”
“When you were like, ‘Hey this is my get down,’ I was like, ‘I totally get it,’” “Wanting to set up your life in a way that you can have what it is that you want, I think anything goes as long as the intentions are clear,” Jada recalled.
As reported by Fox News, Willow also opened up about what being polyamorous means to her. “With polyamory, I feel like the main foundation is the freedom to be able to create a relationship style that works for you and not just stepping into monogamy because that’s what everyone around you says is the right thing to do,” she explained. {
