X-Mas with a message

-

Christmas is round the corner and nothing defines the fun festival more than Santa Claus and a well-decorated Christmas tree. And while most of us turn to shops around the city to buy decorations and baubles, the large Christmas Tree that has been set up in the atrium of Select Citywalk, Saket, shows us how one can jazz up the leafy green tree with recycled things from everyday life. This is a unique initiative taken at this mall, in which a bunch of talented students of Pearl Academy have created some interesting and quirky Christmas trees.

The display is sure to leave you amazed with a diversity of concepts in the basket, the trees are made out of daily use material such as mirror blocking, cycle wheels, beer bottles, sea shells and waste wool. These trees are sure to give you a special warm Christmas-y feeling.

Speaking on the occasion, Arjun Sharma, director, Select Citywalk, says, “We have marked the beginning of the Christmas season and the centre is adorned with beautiful Christmas décor and have also brought in a unique concept of art to the centre, where we are showcasing an exhibition of exclusive Christmas trees in the main atrium which are beautifully crafted by the students of Pearl Academy. The concept behind this exhibition is to show how everyday waste material can be put to better use. So join us and be a part of the biggest celebration this season.”

He adds, “We at Select Citywalk wish all our shoppers a Merry Christmas and a very Happy New Year.”
