Singer Indeep Bakshi (right), who is also a music producer, says that he wants to launch new singers in the industry.

“I know how it feels to know that you have something new and exciting to offer, but you are not getting the right platform. So I am game to promote young musicians who can bring something new to the music industry,” says Bakshi, who made his debut as a singer with the track Saturday Saturday.

The singer does not see anyone as competition. “I don’t think I am in the rat race or I’m out to prove anything to anyone. I have collaborated with artists such as Raftaar and Badshah and we work in complete harmony and are professional. If I like any of their tracks, I share it on my Facebook page and if I don’t like it then I call them up and tell them,” he says.

Bakshi’s track Tere Liye and Booty Shake have been received well by music lovers and even though his strength lies in RnB and romance, the singer tells us the reason behind releasing party tracks. “I know what my fans want. Even though I am an RnB and romance guy, I have to satiate my fans’ demand for peppy dance tracks. I do have a lot of new tracks on different genres to offer,” says Bakshi. ctor Amrita Rao (left) is very particular about the kind of roles that she takes on. While she is open to experimenting, there are some places where she draws the line.

“I won’t say that I am choosy, but I am conscious about the kind of films I take on. An entire family should be able to watch my film without cringing. Now, films have become more real and heroines are willing to do lovemaking and kissing scenes. However this was a decision that I took long back that I won’t do this,”
