Actor Emraan Hashmi is leaving no stone unturned to look like former Indian cricketer Mohammad Azharuddin for the biopic, Azhar. Apparently, Emraan has been undergoing intense training sessions with celebrity fitness and movement-training expert, Praveen Tokas, who has devised a special workout programme for him.

Talking about the training schedule, Praveen says, “We saw 10-hour footages of different cricket matches that Azharuddin played to get a deeper understanding of his walking and running style. We devised our running and postural manipulation programme based on it.”

To get the physique right, Praveen says, “We focused more on his upper body mobility and flexibility training.”

Emraan says, “Azhar has turned out to be the most physically demanding film for me. Preparing for the role has been an amazing experience. I had to undergo a physical transformation. I’m really enjoying the process.”
