KJo is Harvard bound
He wears several hats – director, actor, host, producer and writer, and now, Karan Johar is set to venture into a new territory – speaker at the prestigious Harvard Business School in Boston (USA). He will be the keynote speaker at the India Conference 2016 at the institute in the first week of February.
“Although Karan is very busy with all the films that he is producing as well as his next directorial (starring Ranbir Kapoor, Anushka Sharma and Aishwarya Rai Bachchan) he has taken out time for the conference as it’s a big honour. He is likely to be back immediately after addressing the students and other delegates at Harvard,” says an insider.
When contacted, Karan confirms: “It’s an honour to be the keynote speaker at Harvard. I am going to be speaking on February 6. Sharing one’s views on a global platform is always exhilarating and interacting with the faculty and the students will be enlightening on many levels.”
Although the dates are still being worked out, but Karan will be back in Mumbai immediately since he is also in the midst of shooting his directorial venture. “The next schedule of that film will go on floors very soon. Plus, he has his home production coming up for release (starring Sidharth Malhotra and Alia Bhatt) in March,” adds the insider.
