The wedding song of the year
After releasing four tracks, filmmaker Karan Johar is all set to release a new song, Cutie Pie from his upcoming film, Ae Dil Hai Mushkil that releases on October 28. A still from the song was shared by Karan on Twitter, where actor Ranbir Kapoor, who plays the protagonist, is seen sporting an Indian look.
Talking about the song, our source reveals, “After the title track was released, Channa Mereya and Bulleya were a huge hit with people. The Break up song that was released recently was also well-received and the makers are over the moon as the entire album has been appreciated by people. Cutie Pie is picturised on Ranbir and is part of a wedding sequence. Ranbir is wearing a red banghgala jacket with a matching red turban. This song is composed by Pritam Chakraborty and the lyrics are penned by Amitabh Bhattacharya.”
Karan says, “Cutie Pie is fun and fully filmi. It has got the groove to set all wedding sangeets, house parties and club nights on fire. Amitabh’s brilliant quirk and Pritam’s mad mainstream vibe will make this our dance-buster track.”
