Actor and tv presenter Iulia Vantur breaks silence on her relationship status with actor Salman Khan
Romanian actor-model-television presenter Iulia Vantur (right) who is rumoured to be dating actor Salman Khan (left), finally opens up on her relationship status with the actor.
“Salman is a very good friend. He is a good friend to all who know him. He has a good heart,” said Iulia at the launch of her song, Every Night and Day.
Salman and Iulia have long been speculated to be in a relationship, but both have chosen to stay mum.
The rumours escalated when Iulia was seen at Mumbai airport with Salman’s mother Salma and sister Alvira in may.
Salman made his first joint public appearance with Iulia at actor Preity Zinta’s wedding reception.
What followed next a few days later was a shocking rumour as Salman who would always shy away from the topic of marriage was heard to have got engaged to Iulia.
When asked to clarify the speculation around their marriage, Iulia said, “There are too many speculations and too many stories. As I said we are good friends. What more can I say.”
Salman met Iulia in Romania while doing a location recce for his film Jai Ho in 2013. Even after returning to Mumbai, Salman kept in touch with her. There were reports of a tiff when Iulia went back to Romania but now she is back.
Iulia is currently, concentrating on Every Night and Day. Singer Himesh Reshammiya and Iulia have crooned the song from the album Aap Se Mausiiquii produced by Bhushan Kumar.
