Garden of adventure: Delhi, are you up for it?
Looking for one on one battles with your siblings and friends, and that too with a twist? Or want to experience some rockclimbing and rappelling fun? Or maybe you want to feel the rush of adrenaline, with some bungee jumping. Where would all this be, you might ask. At the Garden of Five Senses, one of Delhi’s most beautiful parks which was developed by the Delhi Tourism Transportation Development Corporation. The organisation came together with Wanderlust to make the place buzzier, by opening a soft adventure park. The move has already proved to be a hit. “This adventure park is a way of attracting Delhiites to discover this park once more and to make it an all inclusive place of fun and beauty. We have much more planned for the park and will be revealing that soon,” says SP Singh, Managing Director and CEO, Delhi Tourism & Transportation.
“This 20 acre area is beautiful. The introduction of the soft adventure park is a way to get Delhiites back to the park. We’ve already had a great first weekend; the park was packed with visitors and entries had to be shut at four because of the long line,” says S K Yadav, managing director of Wanderlust. “We have a lot more planned for the park — a bungee station, a 1000 ft zipline which goes across the area and it is something kids of all age groups and families can enjoy,” he adds.
