Even though singer rapper Yo Yo Honey Singh (left) has been maintaining a low profile for a long time, he still keeps up with his fans. In fact, many of them send him cover versions of his songs, and this keeps the artist engaged all the time.

“Honey is extremely happy with this gesture from his fans. He is overwhelmed with the kind of love that he receives on various occasions. He can’t thank them enough,” says Singh’s spokesperson.

Singh has given hit tracks such as Blue Eyes (2013), Main Sharabi (2015), Lungi Dance (2013), Party On My Mind (Race 2, 2013), Aao Raja (Gabbar, 2015), Dheere Dheere (2014) and One Bottle Down (2015). However, it’s his track from the film Yaariyan (2014) which seems to be a personal favourite with many of his fans.

“Honey receives a lot of cover versions of his track Blue Hai Paani from his fans on social media. Especially because the track has completed three years, his fans send him their love through this track. They were going berserk over the track and poured in covers that they sung, on Yo Yo’s social media handle on the occasion,” says a source.

Actor Shraddha Kapoor’s film Rock On 2, which starred Farhan Akhtar and Arjun Rampal did not get the expected footfall. One reason for this failure was said to be the demonetisation move.

When asked how the failure affected her, Shraddha said, “When any of your films doesn’t work properly, of course you feel bad... But the good thing is that I got busy immediately, so it helps you to shift your mindset.”

The 29-year-old actor hopes that her latest release which stars Aditya Roy Kapur does well. The film is a remake of the popular Tamil film OK Kanmani (2015), and deals with the idea of live-in relationships.

“I hope that all films are successful. I hope people go and watch this film,” she added.
