Unlike many Tv actors, who eventually make their way to films or aspire to act in them, actor Ridhima Pandit (right) of Bahu Hamari Rajni Kant fame, is in no rush. Ask her if she’s making an effort to bag a film offer, Ridhima says, “I’ll embrace it with open arms, if it comes my way. Currently, I’m happy doing a Tv show. I got a film offer after my Tv show gained an instant popularity. But it would have been unfair to leave something that gave me my first break and the fame.”

She feels Tv offers a stable career as compared to films and maybe that’s why she isn’t looking for a shift at present. “Tv is a much secure place than Bollywood. You’ve a steady income and can create your own niche. Task is to maintain it and wisely choose your next projects, and not lose your standing. The life of a female leadd actor on Tv is such that there’s no time for anything else,” she says. .

While most actors do multi-tasking, Ridhima feels otherwise. There’s no desperation to run after work. “I won’t push h myself to something, which isn’t worth it. If I’ve to do something, which is eye grabbing, I’d ’d love to host a show. That’s t’s on my checklist,” she says. ays.

What about participationion in a show like Bigg Boss?s? “I wonder why Tv actors vouch for it and look forward to it. I’m not spontaneous, so can’t putut my life on public display.y. I’m a private person. Despite e being on social media, I don’t see myself in frontt of the camera all the time. I’ve mood swings and I controlrol them all the time,” she says.

Singer Gwen Stefani (left) can’t stop gushing over her love Blake Shelton (right), reports usmagazine. com.During an appearance on Late Night with Seth Meyers, when the 47-year-old singer was asked about her romance with her fellow The Voice coach, she said, “It’s so unbelievable. I love Blake. He’s the most incredible guy. Everybody loves Blake and that’s the thing, there’s no way around it. He’s just a sparkly, happy, amazing person.”

Gwen is returning to the singing show for its 12th season, and she is determined not to let Blake’s team win this time. Despite the fact that he is the most successful The Voice coach, with five out of 11 wins, Gwen said, “He is in trouble this season. I’m about ready to get on him.” Asked whether competing on the show had ever caused a rift in their relationship, she replied, “He’s been on the couch a few nights!” The couple has been dating since November 2015, but Gwen says that she wasn’t exactly a fan of the country star before they began working on the hit show in 2014. “I didn’t even know Blake Shelton existed in the world. I had no idea. I’m the biggest Blake Shelton fan now,” she said.

Prateik Babbar (below, right) became one of the most sought after actors after he made his debut in Jaane Tu Ya Jaane Na (2008) as Genelia Deshmukh’s brother. Despite a great start, his career didn’t take off and has been on a slippery slope since then. The last few years have been full of turmoil, where he battled drug addiction and had a heart break after parting ways with Amy Jackson. Nevertheless, Babbar is now charged up for a comeback in films.

“I want to concentrate on acting. I’m doing a few plays and hoping that filmmakers cast me in their next films. I love acting, and I missed it for last few years,” says the son of actors Raj Babbar and Smita Patil. Babbar has finished shooting for a Bengali film, and is now doing a play called Six, based on a homosexual couple.

Putting his dark days behind him, he says, he doesn’t put the blame on anyone else for his shortcomings. “I was an absolute mess for the last five years because of drug abuse and depression,” he says, adding, “I want to rebuild myself, and focus my energy on work now. Learning method acting, I think, has made me more capable as an actor.” Babbar is positive about making a comeback and says, “Many actors in the industry have made a successful comeback in films. Sanjay Dutt is the best example of it. So, I am hoping that things will work out for me as well.”
