Singer Taylor Swift’s (below) Beverly Hills mansion has officially become a historical city landmark. The five-member Beverly Hills City Council, USA, has approved Swift’s request to designate her home in Los Angeles as a city landmark, reported People magazine.

The 27-year-old singer bought the 11,000-square-foot, four-bedroom estate from the heirs of Hollywood producer Samuel Goldwyn, co-founder of Goldwyn Pictures, which later became MGM, in 2015 for USD 25 million, according to property records.

The house was originally built in 1934. “I think this is a true community gem and I am so thrilled that this will be landmarked and preserved,” Beverly Hills mayor Lili Bosse said while thanking Swift and her team for restoring the house, reports Mansion Global.

The features of the house include a tennis court, pool, and a curved patio sitting area.

Actor Robert Pattinson (above, left) insists he didn’t ignore his The Lost City of Z co-star Charlie Hunnam (above, right) when they shot the film. In fact, he says Hunnam probably ignored him.

The two actors play explorers Henry Costing and Percy Fawcett in the forthcoming biopic. Hunnam earlier said that he felt the 30-year-old actor didn’t like him when they were making the movie.

According to a report in mirror.co.uk, Pattinson now says, “I didn’t ignore him. Well, whatever, maybe... I thought he was ignoring me. I don’t know. It was just the two of us in the hotel.”
