Actor Daisy Shah who was once a background dancer, is all set to tour with superstar Salman Khan later this month. She says the best part about live shows is the backstage drama, which the audience doesn’t get to know.

She, along with Salman and other celebrities, will be touring Malaysia, Hong Kong, Auckland (New Zealand), Sydney and Melbourne (Australia) from April 14 to April 23.

About the tour, Daisy who has known Salman for a long time says: “Salman is doing a live tour after 12 years... That itself is quite interesting. He has been like a rock in my life and is a great mentor and an awesome friend to have.”

She adds, “The best part about live shows is the mess up that happens backstage, which audiences don’t get to know. We tend to not make stupid faces when we miss a (right), step. It’s only us and the dancers who know about it. Once the show ends, we generally tend to sit back, discuss and have a good laugh about it.”

“This is the first time I am doing a tour as a leading lady and live shows are always different from films. The biggest advantage of doing a film is the possibility of a retake, but when it comes to live shows it’s just like plays, there are no retakes,” says the actor who has worked with Salman in Jai Ho (2014). “I have done many live shows as an assistant choreographer, I have never done a show with Salman before. And now, I’m touring with him as one of his leading actresses,” Daisy adds.

Actor Eijaz Khan (left) is happily single but says his sister is trying hard to get him hitched. The actor, who was dating Canadian singer Natalie Di Luccio, adds his younger sister not only talks to him about prospective matches but also arranges meetings at times. “Every now and then Suraiya (his sister) would raise the topic of my marriage. And I can’t do anything but listen to her. It all begins with ‘Are you dating anyone?’ After I reply in the negative, she starts telling me that there is this pilot from Hyderabad or this doctor from Lucknow I should consider meeting. Things don’t end here. She is married and lives in Muscat. So, whenever she is in Mumbai she also makes me meet some of these girls,” smiles Eijaz.

About Natalie, the actor says that they are still in touch. “She is happy. I still speak to her and her mother. We ended our relationship on a positive note so there is no bad break-up,” adds the actor, who is currently working in the television show, Yeh Moh Moh Ke Dhaage.

The actor, who was reportedly depressed after his break-up, says he was misquoted. “I guess people fail to understand this at times. You may get sad or even depressed when things don’t go as per plan but that doesn’t mean it’s the end of the road,” says Eijaz.
