Diljit Dosanjh plays India’s first Sardar superhero in National Award-winning director Anurag Singh’s next film, Super Singh. This is the fifth collaboration of the actordirector duo, after the Jatt & Juliet series and Punjab 1984 (2014).

Talking about Super Singh, Anurag says, “We have always tried to bring clutter-breaking cinema to the Punjabi audience. Be it the first Punjabi romcom, Jatt & Juliet, or the first ever commercial Punjabi drama, Punjab 1984, and now, the first ever Punjabi superhero film. Super Singh is a character that kids, teens and adults, not just in Punjab but the world over, will be able to relate to.”

Diljit says, “My fans have given me so much love and appreciation throughout my career. With Super Singh, we are bringing to them their very own Sardar superhero. It has been my dream to play a superhero and what makes it even more special is that I get to make this dream come true with Anurag. I hope the audiences embrace and love this character as much as they have loved all the other characters I’ve played in the past.”
