HOLLYWOOD TELEVISION MUSIC ADAM LEVINE PAYS MUSICAL TRIBUTE TO CHRISTINA
Singer Adam Levine (right) paid a musical tribute to Christina Grimmie (inset), a TV talent show contestant who was shot dead last year. Levine, the frontman of the band Maroon 5, is a judge on the show The Voice, where 22-year-old Grimmie had been a participant.
To remember Grimmie, the 38-year-old American pop star performed the Beatles classic Hey Jude on the show. He said, “God, I loved her so much. I am talking to you guys specifically. I’m talking to everybody. I miss her. It is unfair she is not here. We are going to sing a little song. I am going to be singing every word to her in her honour. Thank you for being here. Christina, we love you.”
Grimmie was gunned down after a concert at the Plaza Live theatre in Orlando, US, on June 10, 2016, by an obsessed fan named Kevin Loibl.
Actor Jessica Biel (left) says that her husband Justin Timberlake (right) has always been supportive of the roles that she takes on. The 35-yearold Biel is part of the cast of the under-production film Shock and Awe, based on the US offensive against Iraq’s Saddam Hussein.
Biel says that she likes the way Timberlake, an accomplished musician and actor in his own right, takes an interest in her career. “He has been such a huge supporter of this all along. He knows how much the material is interesting to me and what a great opportunity this is for me to do something really different,” she says. The couple wed in 2012.PTI
