Language of art: Exploring complex relations on canvas
This week in the Capital began on an arty note for the culture connoisseurs, who got together for artist
Nandini Hasija’s exhibition, Weaving Labyrinths. Held on Monday, the evening was made all the more better with cloudy skies, cool breeze, talks of fine art and cups of masala chai and coffee. “I am an adopted child and my works attempt to explore the nature of an adoptive relationship,” said Hasija. Her two branches of work, made with graphite on paper and jute, earned many praises. Present at the do were artists Alka Raghuvanshi and Neeraj Gupta among others.
