Ambience Mall’s ‘We Love Summer’ camp is back again for kids

Summers are in full swing and children are excited that along with vacation the biggest Summer camp of 2017 —The We Love Summer is back. The camp, which began on May 22 and will continue till June 4, is Ambience Mall Gurgaon’s fourth consecutiv­e year of organising an edutainmen­t for kids.

This camp helps children discover and enhance their innate skills through fun activities. With profession­al instructor­s teaching them, kids can focus and play on their strengths. From music classes, Zumba, basketball, football, golf, storytelli­ng to Taekwondo and dance, this summer camp has a lot to offer. Pianist Aman Bathla, says, “Kids and parents are happily participat­ing in the music workshop, where we are teaching the basics of piano playing.”

The little ones will also be able to try their hands on golf under the guidance of coach, Swadhin Patel. He says: “It is an amazing experience to meet kids from different background­s. I’m happy to be a part of this summer camp and the turn out to learn the sport is good.”

Pawani Singh Rathore, the Taekwondo trainer who shared his experience, says, “It’s a great opportunit­y as kids are excited to learn about martial arts.”

The camp will also provides assistance to children in making projects for school. Shashank Mehta, Smartivity says,“We are teaching augmented reality and other STEM activities that include kaleidosco­pe, rocket and marvel run.” Playing lego is also popular among them. “Kids aren’t leaving my counter. They are hooked in lego education,” adds Swati Grover of Robogenius. Not only indoor activities, outdoor games, such as basketball, is also popular among them. Coach Shubhankar Samanta, says,“I have been coming here for the last three years and it’s a pleasure to be a part of such a great initiative.”

For kids interested in dance, Aditya Sarmah of Delhi Dance Academy, says: “We are teaching hip hop, funk jazz and Bollywood.”

Kamal Pruthi aka Kabuliwaal­a, who revives the age-old tradition of the storytelli­ng in the camp, says, “My collaborat­ion with the Ambience Mall has been a fruitful one. Every year we try to do something different and engage children.”
