Sabbir is my lucky charm: Tiger Shroff

- Anjali Thakur anjali.thakur@hindustantimes.com

Actor Tiger Shroff, who has already worked with Sabbir Khan in two films, says that the filmmaker is lucky for him.

“Sabbir is my lucky charm, and we share a great camaraderie,” says Tiger, who has been directed by Sabbir in Heropanti (2014) and Baaghi (2016) and now in Munna Michael, which releases today.

It’s not just Tiger, even actor Nawazuddin Siddiqui and debutante Niddhi Agerwal, who are in the film, are all praise for the filmmaker. “As far as performance is concerned, Sabbir has a very nice artistic sensibility. He took care of each and everyone’s performance in the film. He also gave us a chance to improvise,” says Nawaz, who is critically acclaimed for most of his roles.

Niddhi says that she not only enjoyed working with the filmmaker, but also cherishes the moments spent working with her co-stars. “It’s not just Sabbir who is great to work with. I think Tiger and Nawaz are the best co-stars to debut with,” says Niddhi. “There has never been any hassle on the sets; they have been very helpful. And I learned so much from all of them.”

The film sees Nawaz shake a leg — like never before. On his experience of matching steps with Tiger, he says, “Mujhe toh itna darr lag raha tha, but thanks to Tiger, unhone mujhe ek-ek step bahut hi patience ke sath seekhaya.”
