Actor Billie Lourd (left) said playing the iconic role of Princess Leia took a toll on her mother, actor Carrie Fisher (right as Leia), as she found it difficult to leave the character behind when playing other parts.

The 25-year-old said an artist has to be careful while choosing roles as the fear of being typecast always looms, reported Town and Country magazine. “That was hard for her. It’s tough, when you play an iconic character, to break away from it. You have to make sure you have a lot of variety, and make sure you choose roles that aren’t similar to others, or else, you get pigeonholed as one thing,” Lourd said. The scream Queens actor said she would have been uncomfortable playing a character like Princess Leia’s.

“I don’t know if I would play a woman in space in a bikini. You also have to be careful about getting oversexualised, and that was hard for her.” eteran actors Dalip Tahil (left) and Milind Gunaji (far left) will soon be seen together in filmmaker Rajat Mukherjee’s directorial venture, Umeed, after a hiatus of 18 years. Their last project on screen was the 1999 film Zulmi with Akshay Kumar, where they both starred. Besides the professional equation that the two actors share, they have been close friends for the longest time. While Dalip has worked in more than 85 films with all leading names from the film industry, Milind too has been part of over 50 Hindi, Marathi and Telugu, Punjabi, Kannada language movies. Milind has also worked in popular TV series such as Dharti Ka Veer Yodha Prithviraj Chauhan, Veer Shivaji among others. The two actor buddies are delighted to finally share screen space together after such a long break. “I am really happy to become a part of the film, which will raise awareness about unethical drug trials, and pleased to team up with Dalip after so long,” says Milind.
