Actor Kriti Sanon (right) says her films Raabta (2017) and Bareilly Ki Barfi (2017) have helped her evolve and mature both as an actor and as a person.

“I feel that you need to grow with every film. You have to find a new way, a different way to do what you do. And these two films have helped me with that,” said Kriti.

Though Raabta failed to garner good business at the box office, Kriti’s latest release, Bareilly Ki Barfi is receiving positive response and she is happy about it. “I’m overwhelmed that it is getting such a great response from critics and audience. Janta’s (audience) reaction is amazing. I’ve been reading the tweets,” added Kriti, who stars in the film with actor Rajkummar Rao and Ayushmann Khurrana.

Kriti, who was a model, before entering showbiz, was happy to return to the runway, recently. She said that her modelling experience has helped her a lot. “I know what to do on the ramp. I know the technicalities with respect to drapes and trails and how to handle them,” she said.

When asked about what she thinks about the accusations made by models that Bollywood showstoppers are stealing their job, Kriti said: “I’m not stealing their job. I was a model and I never felt that way. I think they are stunning and they know their job well.” Kriti ventured into Bollywood in 2014 with Heropanti and since then she has managed to have a strong fan base. But does her celebrity status, bring in complications in life too? “It’s just that your privacy goes away. You can’t have golgappas and you can’t walk around in your pyjamas or go to the mall,” replied Kriti.
