Canadian actor (right) celebrated Jack Kirby’s 100th birthday in a special and unique way. The actor, who will be next seen in the sequel of Marvel’s 2015 Ant-Man titled Ant-Man and the Wasp shared the first photo of herself wearing her Wasp costume. She shared the photo on Twitter and captioned it. “I am honoured to be on set today playing #TheWasp on what would be Jack Kirby’s 100th birthday.” Kirby co-created Janet van Dyne (the original Wasp) along with Stan Lee back in 1963. Lilly plays Hope, the daughter of Janet van Dyne and Hank Pym (the original Ant-Man). The film would also include original Wasp Janet van Dyne, to be played by Michelle Pfeiffer. Paul Rudd will reprise the role of Ant-Man in Peyton Reed’s directorial, with Michael Douglas returning as Hank Pym. Laurence Fishburne is joining the series as Bill Foster, who, in the comics, worked as a scientist alongside Hank and later became a size-changing superhero in his own right, initially as Black Goliath and then as Giant-Man.

Singer-songwriter Ryan Adams (right) said that he got to know himself better due to his relationship with Mandy Moore (left). The 42-year-old musician married the singer-actor in 2009 after dating her for a year. “The weirdest thing is that it was escaping the pain I felt from losing a person I had loved dearly. And here was this very nice, kind person who lived on this other coast where the sun was shining and things were different. In a way, it was like an elixir. I almost felt like all that difference helped me get out of myself and shed who I thought I was, so I could get down into the depths of really knowing myself,” Ryan told Vanity Fair magazine. Moore filed for divorce in January 2015, and it later emerged they had split almost six months before that, but Ryan said he wants to keep reasons for the end of their marriage to himself. “There’s nothing for me to say about anything I went through outside of my art that would be helpful in a way I would be comfortable with. For me, the best thing you can do as a man in loving someone is to do your best, go on that walk, and at the end of that walk be as much of a gentleman as you were in the beginning.”
