Colours of monsoon at this art show
Artsy days are back in Pullman Novotel, Aerocity, with Artists Playground by Pullman launching its new exhibition, Monsoon Show, on August 27. This exhibition is presented by art curator Ina Puri.
Artists Playground by Pullman is a project that is a manifestation of the hotel’s own design vision and has been created to add elements of local interest, culture intrigue and visual ingenuity to the hotel’s common spaces.
Speaking about the initiative, Tristan Beau De Lomenie, general manager delegate, Pullman Novotel, New Delhi Aerocity, says, “Pullman Hotels and Resorts have an incredible affiliation to design, art, photography and local culture, and collaborate with artists and designers around the world to help bring its design vision to life. Pullman New Delhi Aerocity, with its strong ‘art’ connect, has associated with renowned art curator, Ina Puri, for this event.”
The recently-opened show celebrates the works of established as well as young artists, who are recognised for the figurative genre. Some of the artists, whose works can be seen here, include Manu Parekh, Sanjay Bhattacharya, Seema Kohli and Jayasri Burman, among many others. The colour palette of the canvases is radiant, the mood positive, and in sharp contrast to cloudy skies.
Speaking about the exhibition, Tript Kalra, founder of an art gallery, says, “We are very happy to showcase an amazing suite of works at the Pullman, which is one of the most aesthetic hotels at Aerocity. This show is a precursor to the festivities that begin from now and continue for many months.”
The Monsoon Show will be available for viewing at Artist Playground by Pullman at Lower Ground Floor of the hotel.
