Shreyas Talpade dons a new hat, moves behind the camera

-

Actor Shreyas Talpade had produced the original Poshter Boys — a Marathi film in 2014. Now in 2017, he marks his directorial debut with its Hindi remake, Poster Boys, starring Sunny Deol, Bobby Deol and himself. While Shreyas is known for his comic timing, filmmakers are also vouching for him as a director.

Talking about his equation with Shreyas, filmmaker Remo D’souza says, “I’ve known Shreyas even before he was an actor, and it has been amazing to see his journey. We need such high on content films and Poster Boys is looking very good. I have high regards for Sunny, Bobby and Shreyas.”

Vetaran filmmaker Subhash Ghai says, “Shreyas Talpade is undoubtedly a versatile actor. With Iqbal, he played someone who could not speak but he won everyone’s heart. Today, he makes his debut as a director, which I’m sure will speak volumes of the other side of his talent as a storyteller. I can’t wait to see the film and wish him success.”

Director Sajid Khan says, “Wishing my friend Shreyas all the best for his debut as a director. I’m positive Shreyas has learned the best from all the directors he has worked with. A good actor usually transcends into a fine filmmaker. Here’s hoping Poster Boys proves the same for Shreyas. Welcome to the club bro.”

Poster Boys produced by Sony Pictures Networks Productions, Sunny Sounds Pvt Ltd, Shreyas Talpade and Deepti Talpade, releases today worldwide.
