Ecstatic that Chef is winning hearts: Bhushan
Director Raja Krishna Menon’s Chef, starring Saif Ali Khan, which released yesterday, has impressed moviegoers all across the country. The Hindi adaptation of Jon Favreau’s 2014 Hollywood hit is a unique story about Roshan Kalra (Saif), who undertakes a journey to find out his true priorities and source of happiness.
Chef is a story of food, love, family and a father’s rediscovery of the filial bond. Performances by the cast members — child actor Svar Kamble, who plays Saif ’s son; Padmapriya; and Milind Soman — have been appreciated. The film is being hailed as a visual treat for encapsulating a journey of exploration of Indian cities, a variety of food and different cultures.
Talking about its success, producer Bhushan Kumar says, “Chef is being appreciated by moviegoers and I’m ecstatic. It’s a family film that’ll put a smile on everyone’s face. I am sure the word of mouth will help this film further.”
