Actor Bharti Singh updates us on the preparations for her December wedding to fiance, writer Harsh Limbachiyaa
Actor-comedian Bharti Singh is so excited for her impending wedding to Harsh Limbachiyaa, you can even sense it in her voice. She takes out time from the preparations for a quick chat, and tells us, “I’m very excited. The shopping has started. Humare panditji aa rahe hain (on October 21). The month for the wedding is December; he will finalise a date and then we will announce it to the media.”
Harsh is the writer of Comedy Nights Bachao and has been dating Bharti for seven years now.
Shopping is what’s keeping Bharti busy for now, and she’s looking into every little detail of the preparations. “Abhi toh main kapde pasand kar rahi hoon, but the only issue is that the venue hasn’t been finalised. Once you get to know the venue, you can proceed with the arrangements,” says Bharti.
Like every girl, she, too, is feeling the jitters before getting hitched. “Aapne kyun poochha yeh sawaal?! Of course, there will be some difficulty leaving the house where I’ve been living for 30 years now, but itna feel nahi hota.” And why is that? “My sasuraal is right across the street (in Mumbai)!” she laughs, adding, “I have told my sister, ‘Mera khaana tu hamesha bana ke rakhna, main kabhi bhi aa sakti hoon khaane!’”
Bharti is now on a break from work. “I’ve wrapped up the shoots for my shows. For the next two months, I’m going to chill and prepare for the wedding. But this sabbatical will be over after my wedding, and I will get back to work,” she says.
