New TV show on wealth, power, love and desire
Bollywood actor Zayed Khan is set to make his television debut with edge-of-the seat thriller, Haasil, a new TV show about today’s society, ambitions, and achievements.
Zayed will essay the cold and meticulous Ranvir Raichand in the show, which also features Vatsal Sheth, who plays the role of his brother, Kabir Raichand, who is impulsive and flamboyant. Actor Nikita Dutta will portray Aanchal, a strongheaded idealist, who enters the world of Raichands.
Talking about the new venture, Siddharth P Malhotra, producer and director, Alchemy Films Pvt Ltd says, “Haasil is very close to my heart. It is nothing close to anything you have seen on TV and still it is designed in a manner that is palatable to the TV viewer. The characters, the aspirations and anxieties will find relevance among the young urban audiences and hopefully deliver the kind of television we all have been aspiring to see but couldn’t do till now.”
The show, which is high on production value, glamour and thrill, will present a larger-than-life narrative revolving around the three central characters whose lives are interconnected towards a common purpose. The show also features actors Mohit Chauhan, Yamini Singh and Chirag Mahbubani.
Haasil is slated to go on air tonight at 9.30pm. It will air every Monday to Friday on Sony Entertainment Television.
