Model-turned-actor Urvashi Rautela, who is also a trained classical dancer, feels that sexual harassment — be it on the home ground or aboard — is serious, and the victims deserve justice. She says, “There is a growing sense of frustration in all walks of the society (throughout the world) on our collective failure to protect our women and children. I want to convey to women across the globe that they aren’t weak. They can fight for themselves and get justice.”

With respect to India, she goes on, “As far as the punishment is concerned, I feel that chemical castration will be good for rapists and paedophiles. Castration is intended to have a deterrent effect and prevent repeat sexual offenses.”

The actor is currently shooting for the fourth installment of a revenge drama series. Lead actors in the previous films of the franchise have made news for being bold and sexy. So is Urvashi ready to handle such labels? “For me, a script has to be convincing, bold and experimental. It needs to overpower all my senses. Everything else, I can handle.” But there were rumours that the actor has signed a no lovemaking clause for the movie. Urvashi explains, “I won’t get into the details of it. But yes, I have signed a similar clause. However, I would urge everyone to see the movie and then decide.”

Meanwhile, she says that she is working on an out-and-out family entertainer, playing the role of a girl-next-door.

After the success of Kaabil, actor Yami Gautam says she wants to explore the world of a costume drama or be part of a dance-based movie.

The actor is willing to change her physical appearance if the project is convincing enough. “I feel if there is a role and a team that I love, then I would take it as it comes,” says the modelturned-actor.

Apart from her acting skills, the actor, who featured in Vicky Donor (2012), is also known for being health conscious. “The kind of profession I am in, and the active lifestyle we all lead require us to be on our toes all the time. Which is why it becomes all the more important to maintain a healthy and balanced lifestyle. Keeping fit is not about a good core, or a good body; it is a lifestyle choice which reflects every day. It even translates to little things like good skin and hair, amongst others,” Yami says. What is her fitness regime? “I mostly do functional training. I do very little weights. It always is an amalgamation of workout and your diet. It doesn’t mean cutting down food. It means including more healthy stuff in your food, that gives you the right nutrition,” she says.

Yami feels each individual finds their own way to a healthy lifestyle, as she says, “It’s not always restricted to the gym. I dance, someone does yoga, someone goes cycling. I think any sort of physical activity and right food is very important. I think even right food doesn’t mean it has to be bland and boring. I truly believe that you must enjoy what you are eating.”

“Keep one day to indulge. I never call it a ‘cheat day' because I feel I deserve it,” adds the 28-year-old actor.
