In today’s times, when stress has become the bane of modern life, actor and fitness enthusiast Shilpa Shetty feels it is very crucial to keep tension away in order to remain healthy and disease-free.
The actor says diabetes is one such disease which gets escalated if a person is under stress. “Stress is a big factor for everyone, given the fastpaced lives we lead in this time and age. It can signifcantly affect blood sugar level in the body. You may notice that even though diabetics are careful with their diet, their sugar level spikes when they are stressed,” Shilpa asserts.
