Laksh refutes reports of his starry tantrums
Actor Laksh’s much awaited show Porus has gone on air and is already creating the right kind of buzz. However, there have been reports about him throwing his weight around at work. The 21-year-old is not pleased about such assumptions.
“What happens is that even if you ask for anything small, like a coffee, some people make an issue about it. But nobody wants to cross check the facts with the concerned person. It’s very easy to put somebody down. When my mother read the reports, she got really tensed. I explained it to her that such things will happen and people will write [stories], so it is better to not pay attention,” says Laksh, who plays the titular role in the show.
Talking about rumours linking him with actors such as Rashami Desai and Additi Gupta, Laksh says, “Initially, I used to get really aggressive and would panic as to why I’m being linked with a certain female. It’s part of the game and it will happen. When you’re working with people, you end up making good bonds with them, and I think people just get mistaken. I’ve a different way to see it and choose to stay quiet,” he says.
Laksh, who has earlier done romantic shows such as Adhuri Kahaani Hamari and Pardes Mein Hai Mera Dil, says shifting to a period drama was a deliberate choice.
“It was very challenging to play this role. The only reason I did this is because this show puts me out of the comfort zone,” he says.
