Liven up your indoors with plants

-

Keeping plants indoors not only adds charm to your house but also improves the air quality by reducing toxins. Here are ways you can decorate your house with plants:

Potted plants are the best choice for your living room. Pots are available in different sizes and colours to suit your requirements. Ensure that they are visible over the furniture kept in the living room.

To add a dash of life to your dining area, bring home varieties like money plant, bamboo plants, and ferns in glass bottles and vases. Embellish your bedroom with indoor plants such as Sansevieria, which helps maintain optimum oxygen levels at night so you can sleep well. Keeping small potted plants on bedside tables, too, is a good idea. For open spaces like balconies, install a shelf or hang flower boxes along the railings to make it look attractive from the outside. Make sure the planter is in sync with the wall colour. Embellish the place with animal artefacts. Apartments often have empty areas that give rise to monotony. Get rid of the drabness by keeping big plants in colourful pots. Decorate your living space with indoor plants, as they make any area feel bright, lively, calm, and inspiring. Another good idea is to hang indoor plants like Chinese money plant, Staghorn ferns, snake plant varieties, and weeping fig in the balcony. Get innovative and use your old crockery set for planting. These can be placed anywhere, from the kitchen, the living room, to your bathroom.

Make your own terrarium using succulent plants to create a decorative piece in your kid’s room or for the dining table.
