The most awaited automobile event, the Auto Expo 2018, kicked off this week, and Hyundai Motor India Limited (HMIL), launched its Super Performer Iconic Premium Compact—the New 2018 ELITE i20. Priced between `5,34,900 and `9,15,500, the car is Hyundai’s modern premium offering for global customers.
Commenting on the launch, YK Koo, managing director and CEO, Hyundai Motor India Ltd., said, “The ELITE i20 has been a global success, with over 4,00,000 happy customers since its launch in 2014. The new version is a product of our continuous R&D efforts to bring out a premium, sporty and stylish design, equipped with hi-tech convenience features and uncompromised safety, along with advanced dynamics.”
The key features of the 2018 ELITE i20 include best-insegment 6-airbags, ABS and dual airbags as standard, premium cascade design high gloss front grille, 16” diamond cut alloy wheels, dual tone exterior colour, air curtain, dual tone rear bumper, DRL near-fog lamps, tailgate design, and rear lamp design.
The vehicle also features best-in-segment 17.77 touchscreen infotainment system and audio navigation with IPS display for a wide viewing angle and smart phone connectivity, with Apple CarPlay, AndroidAuto and MirrorLink.
It also offers DRM Arkamys Sound Mood and Navigation.
