Burst of vibrant design and luxurious decor
The Capital recently witnessed myriad designs and quirky decor elements at Indian
Design ID 2018 as prominent design experts shared their experiences and knowledge through exhibitions, installations, and discussions.
The event, inaugurated with an exclusive preview party at NSIC Grounds, saw title sponsors, Asian Paints, presenting trends for 2018: Humane, Untamed, Alchemy of Memories and BusyCool, which was followed by the unveiling of The Colour of the Year: Passion Flower.
Held over five days, the exhibition showcased interior decoration items, including furniture, kitchen concepts, furnishing and lighting.
Speaking about their concept at ID 2018, founder,
Anuja Gupta, said, “Taking forward what we do in interiors and homes, we think that wardrobe is a significant space. More and more of our clients are wanting them to be personalised, and willing to spend money.”
At the set up created by Apartment 9, one could feel transported to a dated French city of Bordeaux as the area was spread into four different genres of wardrobes: French Feminine, Classic British, Modern Contemporary and Glossy Glamorous.
Moving from one elaborate cell into another, Formus’ design collaboration with Mozez Singh and Fenny Ganatra was rich and luxurious
First timers at India Design ID 2018, Anca by La Sorogeeka, launched their latest collection titled Renaissance inspired by gemstones. Another attention-grabbing launch was by two brands of The Himatsingka Group — Atmosphere and Fabric Haus — that comprised a broad spectrum of patterns across drapery and upholsteries.
