Raising a toast to India, Italy

It was an evening made of refreshing music, culinary expertise and great company, as diplomats and artists from across cultural realms got together to celebrate Italian National Day, the anniversary of the unification of Italy and, 70 years of India-Italy relations.“Aapka bahut bahut abhinandan. India and Italy are two great democracies and 2018 is the year to celebrate our diplomatic relations,” said Lorenzo Angeloni, Italian ambassador to India. Ajay Tamta, Minister of State (Textile) and Alexandre Ziegler, French ambassador, were in attendance, too.
