Eva Longoria confirms rumour about not being friends with all of the Housewives
Eva Longoria has hinted at that all may not be well among her former Desperate Housewives costars, after all.
The confirmation of sorts came on Longoria’s appearance on Jimmy Kimmel’s talk show on Tuesday, where she said that she isn’t exactly friends with all of her co-stars from the hit series that ended in 2012.
For the uninitiated, there have been rumours that Longoria, Felicity Huffman, and Marcia Cross get along with each other quite well, but the trio do not see eye to eye with Teri Hatcher.
So, when Kimmel asked if the reboot of the series was in the works, Longoria replied in the negative. “No, I mean it’s always coming up on interviews and stuff, but no, nobody from [the network] has brought it up,” she said, and then went on to add “But also, we were on for a decade and we did 24 episodes a year, we fully mined those characters.”
Kimmel, then asked, “And you guys all hate each other now?” referring to the show’s other stars, Hatcher, Huffman and Cross. The 43-year-old actor, who is getting a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame, replied, “No! Felicity Huffman and Marcia are going to be at my star ceremony. Felicity is giving a speech.”
“No, we’re very, very good friends,” she added, to which, Kimmel further asked, “All of you?” Longoria quickly replied, “No!”
According to Hello magazine, the relationship between the trio and Teri worsened after a photoshoot for Vanity Fair. A rep from the magazine had claimed that a person from the show had been stationed at the shoot venue to ensure Teri didn’t get the first pick of the wardrobe or appear in the middle of group pictures.
