Chitrangda goes for a trek-vacay to Kashmir
Actor Chitrangda Singh has her hands full and her schedule packed. The actor has been busy shooting for Nikkhil Advani’s Bazaar with actor Saif Ali Khan, and Tigmanshu Dhulia’s Sahib Biwi aur Gangster 3 with Sanjay Dutt. And after a stretch of stressful work schedule, the actor finally decided to take out some time for a quick vacation to Srinagar with family and friends.
The trip included trekking and fishing, something that Chitrangda immensely enjoys doing. “As soon as I got some time off my hectic schedule, I decided to go for a quick trek vacation. It was a five-day trip and we went to Daanchi Gam, National reserve in Srinagar. We did camping with bonfire and barbecue. The entire idea was to relax in the lap of nature,” she says.
“I’ve done trekking before and have fished along Ram Ganga river in Corbett National Park and Himachal Teerthan Valley. I love nature and enjoyed the entire experience,” adds the actor, known for films such as Hazaaron Khwaishein Aisi (2003), Yeh Saali Zindagi (2011), Desi Boyz (2011), and I, Me Aur Main (2013).
Revealing more details from her rejuvenating holiday, she says, “We also played some gully cricket with the local boys and caretakers, after finishing the trek. Later, we went for another short trek crossing the Sheshnag stream and did some fly fishing along the Ferozpur river.”
Back from the refreshing vacation, Chitrangda shares that she is charged up to get back to work. However, she is already planning her next trip, soon.
