Shah Rukh and Salman double the starry delight

Ever since Shah Rukh Khan started shooting for filmmaker Aanand L Rai’s next, Zero, the project has been making news almost every day. And predictably, fans’ excitement levels went through the roof when word got around that Salman Khan will be seen in a cameo alongside SRK in the film. But all the speculation can now be laid to rest, as the film’s makers have come out with a sneak peek of Salman’s cameo through a teaser featuring both the superstars.

A source close to the film’s unit says, “The camaraderie between Shah Rukh and Salman is surely the highlight of the teaser, which has been attached to the Salman’s Eid release, Race 3. Zero is a story that celebrates life, and the first look of the film featuring SRK as the adorable vertically-challenged man has surely piqued the audience’s interest in this unusual tale.”

Rai says that like all Indians, he also loves festivals. “In fact, I love all festivals. The energy, vibrancy and bhaichaara (brotherhood) they bring with them makes me happy. It’s with the same joy that we have made Zero. The film is a celebration of many things. We had the opportunity to celebrate this Eid with the two Khans who have given us so many reasons to smile over the decades. Honestly, more than a teaser or a glimpse of the film, I wanted to share this feeling with my audience. And for a director, his feeling is his film. I wish all a happy Eid and seek their best wishes.”

Shah Rukh and Salman have worked together in Karan Arjun (1995), Kuch Kuch Hota Hai (1998) and Hum Tumhare Hain Sanam (2002).
