Double celebrations this Eid with Loveratri teaser
On the festive occasion of Eid this year, Salman Khan Films has presented the teaser of the romantic drama Loveratri, starring debutants Aayush Sharma and Warina Hussain. Showcasing vibrant colours mixed with folk music, set against the backdrop of Gujarat, the teaser reveals the love story of the lead couple, as they bond over Garba.
The teaser got a thumbs up from big Bollywood names such as Shah Rukh Khan, Karan Johar, Varun Dhawan, Shilpa Shetty Kundra, Sonakshi Sinha, and Riteish Deshmukh. The teaser of Loveratri is attached to the Salman-starrer Eid release, Race 3, now in theatres — the actor has also lent his voice to the teaser.
A source reveals, “With Garba being an essential factor in the story, both Aayush and Warina took extensive lessons to learn the dance form. The lead pair has been piquing the interest of the audience with videos and pictures from the Garba training. Earlier, Ayush treated the audience with multiple on-set pictures.”
Loveratri, by Salman Khan Films, is directed by Abhiraj Minawala, who also makes his directorial debut with the film. It is slated to release on October 5, a few days before Navratri. Minawala says, “I’m so overwhelmed by the response that we’ve got for the teaser. I would like to say a big thank you to everyone for appreciating our work.”
The story of Loveratri is written by Mumbai-based Niren Bhatt, who was born in Bhavnagar, Gujarat.
