Taapsee Pannu scores style points on her Italian holiday
Bollywood actor Taapsee Pannu has debuted her new social media fashion collaboration with KOOVS, the leading western fashion brand for stylish, aspirational 20-somethings in India. Pannu, who is known for her roles in films like Baby and Pink, has 17 million followers across social media platforms, is currently shooting her latest film co-produced by superstar Shah Rukh Khan, in Scotland.
Taapsee X KOOVS campaign will comprise all her travel diaries from Italy’s capital, Rome. This is the latest in the series of highly successful social media campaigns with celebrities by the fashion brand that have to date reached a total social media audience of over 140 million and gained engagement with six million followers and fans of the stars. In the last three months across these campaigns, the brand has achieved as high as 80% engagement with its social media audience, regularly double that of its nearest competitor.
“In May Redseer Consulting reported that 58% of customers surveyed cited social media as the most influential factor in their fashion choices. So, we are very fortunate that these iconic young stars want to collaborate with our brand to bring fashion and fun from a global stage to their fans and followers,” Mary Turner, CEO of KOOVS, said.

In the four years since its IPO in London, the Company has succeeded in establishing significant and growing social media following and customer engagement. It also has 2.4 million followers including 1.9 million on Facebook and 500,000 on Instagram. It has emerged as a leading brand that is fashion-forward and affordable at the same time.
The brand has also introduced exclusive collections with famous designers including Manish Arora, Hattie Stewart, Gauri & Nainika and Henry Holland.
