When it comes to hit film trends, biopics are undoubtedly among the top few. Actors, filmmakers, audiences... everyone’s lapping up stories with a real connect. What about Telugu film star Ram Charan? Well, he enjoys watching films on one’s life, but is certainly not ready to act in a biopic right now.

“I’m interested in watching biopics because of the intrigue factor associated with them. But I’m not quite sure if I’ll be able to do complete justice to any person being depicted on screen... However, I can’t really say what’s in store for future,” says Ram Charan, adding that he really liked the trailer of the recently released film, Sanju, based on actor Sanjay Dutt’s life, and starring actor Ranbir Kapoor in the lead role.

“I love Ranbir’s work. He is a very good actor,” says Ram, known for films such as Magadheera (2009), Yevadu (2014), Dhruva (2016) and Rangasthalam.

The actor shares that he’s a movie buff, and together he and his wife, Upasana Kamineni Konidela, watch a lot of Bollywood films as well. “I watched Dangal (2016) and Secret Superstar (2017), among others. We also loved this funny film that we watched sometime back, Sonu Ke Titu Ki Sweety. My wife is a huge fan of comedies and thanks to her, I also got to watch the film. It was very interesting for a young team to put together such a lovely film,” he says.
