Dwayne ‘Rock’ Johnson says being ‘below the drape’ for his youngest daughter’s delivery transformed his perception about women forever
Actor Dwayne Johnson says watching his longtime girlfriend Lauren Hashian deliver their daughter Tiana Gia changed the way he looks at women.
During a visit to Live with Kelly and Ryan, the 46-yearold opened up on being in the delivery room for his youngest daughter’s birth, reports People.com. “It was the most amazing experience,” Johnson said, adding, “I look at Lauren, and women and mothers in a different light than I ever have before. And it was beautiful.”
Earlier, Johnson had been beside ex-wife Dany Garcia, when she was in labour with their daughter Simone Garcia Johnson, and Hashian when she gave birth to Jasmine Lia. But, both times, he avoided standing below the drape. With Tiana, he went to watch by Hashian’s feet. “I was encouraging her. And when the doctor said, ‘Would you like to come down and help?’I said, ‘Yup, I’m going to come down. I’m holding legs. And out comes the baby,” he said.
