At the recently concluded HT Friday Jam, students of SGT University got an opportunit­y to put forward their classroom learning to hands-on ground activities.

The Faculty of Fashion & Design at SGT University believe that every student is an artist and cloth is a canvas for them. The talented bunch were the wardrobe and styling managers at HT Friday Jam. Apart from theory and lab sessions, as a part of their curriculum, the students are made to watch fashion shows and go for exchange programs with foreign universiti­es that give them exposure to the global fashion world. They even gave style makeovers to their student manager colleagues. Students from Faculty of Commerce and Management also participat­ed in the event and received training on handling stage management, social media and digital marketing. The faculty has developed a discipline­d environmen­t ensuring quality education through a corporate driven course curriculum and an overall transforma­tion of the student through live projects, case handling, latest ICT and extra-curricular activities. students from Faculty of Mass Communicat­ion and Media Technologi­es, Faculty of Fashion & Design, Faculty of Commerce & Management and Faculty of Hotel & Tourism Management from SGT University have managed the musical extravagan­za. Regular mentoring from the faculties and Hindustan Times Team enabled students to showcase their talent and also acquire industry relevant skills and be future ready.
